A Week-Long "Thank You" from WORDfest!

It's official: the deed is done, and you-all made our first WORDfest such a smashing success! We were so happy to meet so many great people there, especially after all the reshuffling caused by our March 11th postponement.

And since not everyone who registered could make it out yesterday, we're offering a special deal: until Sunday, April 16th, you can order any of the goodies we had at WORDfest - and if you live in Texas, we'll ship them to you at no extra cost. Here's what we got:

Killer-awesome shirt: $18. We have adult sizes from Small to 2X, and the sizing chart is here

Add your book covers, logo, etc. with an iron-on transfer from any craft store, and the awesomeness will knock your hat clean off!

Bumper stickers: $3 each (they are 8" wide - very good for laptops and the like.) WORD buttons :$1 each. Nub cat not included.

So how do you get this fancy stuff? Simple!
1. Add up your total (shirts $18 each, stickers $3, buttons $1.) Add $3 if you live outside Texas in the continental US.
2. Send that amount of money via Paypal to findyourtribe at wordwriters.org
3. On the Paypal Notes screen (before you click Submit), write in your desired items/sizes/quantities and the address we should ship to.
4. We'll send you an email (to your Paypal-registered address) as soon as the goods go out!

That's it! And thanks again for a fantastic time, y'all - it has been phenomenal to see so much interest in this event, and we're just getting started!

WORDfest Parking & Entry Directions

The circus is coming to town! And here's how to get there.

1. WORDfest is at TCC Northeast Campus' Student Center (aka the NSTU building) at 828 W. Harwood Road in Hurst (zip code 75064). Click to see it on Google Maps.

2. The first thing to do is make sure you come in using the Campus Drive and Harwood intersection. Park in either lot immediately to your left or right.

3. You'll see the NSTU building, which has the big red WORDfest banner out front. Head for the banner and bear left (toward the red arrow in this photo).

4. When you get to the gravel "koi pond" and the Health Services sign (which we will supplement with a WORDfest sign!), head straight inside.

And that's it! Don't forget to allow extra time for parking, strolling, and checking in once you make it inside - wonders and splendors await you within!
